World Nutrition, Health & Disease Conference 2009 – 20 July, Singapore

The World Nutrition, Health & Disease Conference 2009 is being held in conjunction with the Asia Food Technology, Innovation & Safety Forum.

We are honoured to have Prof Colin Campbell as our guest of honour for this event. Prof Campbell is Jacob Gould Schurman Professor Emeritus of Nutritional Biochemistry at Cornell University and is author of the international best seller, The China Study.

The issues of nutrition, health and disease have long been the focus of scientific research. Although this research has led to major advances, much more needs to be done in the development, dissemination and application scientific advances, much more needs to be done to overcome the growing health challenges faced by humanity as we enter the second decade of the 21 century.

Towards this goal, the World Nutrition, Health & Disease Conference 2009 aims to bring together the scientific and medical communities to discuss pressing issues. For example, questions about the role of nutrition and diet versus treatment, pills and supplements will be discussed.

The event will also incorporate an exhibition and networking format for buyers and sellers of food, medical and pharmaceutical products to exchange business contacts.
